In addition to being able to save templates for visualizations and advanced analysis outputs, Pages and all the contents within them can also be saved in the same way. This means you can lay out all the necessary items on a page, save this as a template, and then insert it easily into the same or another document without having to manually copy and paste.
Requirements
- Any object added to a Page can be included in the template, including outputs (Table, Calculation, Visualization or Advanced Analysis output), as well as text boxes, shapes, controls and images.
- When using Method 1 below, the template will also include the page layout and title (if present), and adopt the contents of the Page Master associated with the templated page layout in the document inserted into.
- The item being saved as a template must not be in an error state.
- All object inspector settings are saved in the template, excluding any data-related inputs (including filters and weight).
- You must either select one or more Pages or multiple outputs on the same Page to save as a template.
