UPCOMING WEBINAR: From Thousands of Tables To One Clear Story: using AI in survey analysis You can purchase a domain name and use it to redirect a viewer to your Displayr dashboard. To do so:
- Purchase the domain name. Make sure that whoever you purchase it from allows you to forward (i.e., redirect) the domain name (e.g., www.godaddy.com permits this).
- Forward the domain name to the URL of your dashboard (this is found in the Company Settings link from the dashboards). Ensure that when you do this, you do not forward with masking, as this will prevent the dashboard from working properly.
When the redirection happens the dashboard's original published URL will appear in the address bar of the user’s browser. That is, there is no way to hide displayr.com from URLs. A couple alternative solutions to explore:
- You can Embed a Displayr Document within a Web Page.
- You can create a subdomain for your company in the Displayr domain so it is part of the URL (i.e. company.displayr.com) See How to Customize Your Displayr URL for more info.
