You can restrict pages in your document so that only certain groups of users are able to view them.
Requirements
- You must have a paid professional user license.
- Your Displayr account has been converted to a Multi-User Account. See How to Change to a Multi-User Account.
- You have assigned Users to appropriate User Groups used to grant access to individual pages in your Document. See How to Manage User Groups and Permissions in Displayr.
- You have purchased Server time for private dashboards and API (hours for View-mode). Found under Account Settings > Licenses > Server time for private dashboards and API.
- You must have an administrator account.
Method
- Your Document will need to require users to log in to grant/restrict access. While editing your Document, click Share > Publish as a Web Page.
- Select Login and password required.
- Change any other Advanced settings as needed and click the Publish button.
- Click the Close button.
- Go to Tools
> Document Settings.
- Expand the Access section.
- Scroll down and click Set tab-based access to document.
- For each Tab (page) in the document, select the groups that should have access to that page. You can make multiple selections by holding down CTRL. Groups with access will be highlighted. If no group is selected for a Tab, then only the users in the specified groups will see the Tab.
- Click Save.
Note: If a user is assigned to one of the groups listed under View access and View and edit access in the Access settings, they will always have access to all of the pages in your document. As a result, any user who is to be restricted to individual pages must not be a member of any of those groups.
