Displayr offers many ways to change multiple items at once, reducing the time it takes you to create and revise your report. These include:
- Selecting multiple outputs, Pages, or Folders to adjust things in the object inspector
under the Data and Appearance tab. The object inspector shows the fields available for editing (such as input variables, filters, rules, font, etc.), and when you change a field, the change is applied recursively to all objects with that field in your selection. See How to Set or Change Weights, Filters, Statistics, or Row or Column Variables in Bulk.
- Saving and applying a visualization or variable template file from the Displayr cloud drive can modify multiple visualizations/variables that you select at a time.
- Editing the Document's Page Master will make changes to any page in your Report using a particular layout. You can also set the default fonts and colors for built-in items via the Page Master.
- Changing the default statistical assumptions will apply changes to all tables and legacy charts using the default significance testing.
- Changing the default caption settings will change all outputs using the default significance testing.
- Finding and replacing text or using wildcards to relabel items in bulk is available, see How to Edit in Bulk with Find and Replace.
- Changing the default table style will apply changes to all built-in tables using the default style.
- You can apply/remove rules to every item or multiple selected items at a time via the Rules > + > Apply menu.
