Some R-based outputs have a Data tab in Properties , but sometimes you may run across a Data (Nested) tab as well. This most commonly happens if an R-based table, such as a combined table, is nested under a visualization. The inputs and code for the underlying R-based table are in the Data (Nested) tab, whereas the Data tab has settings relevant to the visualization.
For example, you create a combined table and turn that into a visualization:
The settings for the visualization are in the Data tab in Properties:
If you click on Data > Attributes > Code in Properties , the Code
panel will open. Click Show and the underlying code will be exposed.
You are able to update the code selector dropdown to view the R Code - Data and Inputs JavaScript - Data.
These sections (R Code - Data and Inputs JavaScript - Data) are the code that is creating the filtered input table and Data (Nested) tab.
The R Code and Inputs JavaScript code is the code that is relevant to the visualization.
