How to Delete Outputs, Variables, and Data Sets

This article describes the different methods on deleting items in Displayr, such as a data source, variable, outputs on the page, and more. 

Requirements

A Displayr document with a data set.

Method - Using the Delete key

1. Select all of the items that you want to delete, such as a data set, variable, output on the page, Page, or column/row header in a drag and drop table.
2. Hit the Delete key on your keyboard.

Method - Using the context menu

1. Select the thing that you want to delete, such as a data set, variable, output on the page, Page, or column/row header in a drag and drop table.
2. Access the context menu by either right clicking the item or, if present, clicking the 3 dots icon at the top of the selection.
3. Click on Delete from the menu.

Method - Using the More tools menu

1. Select the thing that you want to delete, such as a data set, variable, output on the page, Page, or column/row header in a drag and drop table.
2. From the toolbar, click on the More tools .
3. Click on Delete from the menu.
