This article describes how to go from a Displayr document that displays all pages, variables, outputs, and objects when viewed and exported:
To a state where selected items are hidden in View/Explore mode or exports:
Requirements
A Displayr document and data set.
Method 1 - via the toolbar
To hide any page, variable, output, or object in your document or page, select the page, variable, or item(s), and from the toolbar, click Hide.
To unhide any page, variable, output, or object in your document or page, select the hidden page, variable, or item(s), and from the toolbar, click Unhide.
Method 2 - using right-click on the page, variable, output, or object
To hide any page, variable, output, or object in your document or page, right-click the page, variable, or item(s), and select Hide.
To unhide any page, variable, output, or object in your document or page, right-click the hidden page, variable, or item(s), and select Unhide.
Hidden pages, objects, and outputs will have Hidden from exported views ticked in Properties > LAYOUT.
Hidden variables and variable sets will have Hidden except in the data tree ticked in Properties > GENERAL.
The hide/unhide function can also hide rows and columns from standard outputs. I've illustrated this in the "Living Arrangements" output table above, hiding the NET and Female columns.
