Requirements
A crosstab with a date/time variable in the columns.
Method - From an existing table
- Select the existing table that shows the date/time variable in the columns.
- From the object inspector, go to Visualization > Time Series.
- Check the Show legacy visualization box in the lower left-hand corner.
- Select Small Multiples with Tests for Trends.
Alternatively:

From the toolbar, go to Visualization
> Time Series.
- Check the Show legacy visualization box in the lower left-hand corner.
- Select Small Multiples with Tests for Trends and click on the page where you want to put your chart.
- From Data > Data Source > Data, select the existing table.
Method - Using variable inputs

From the toolbar, go to Visualization
> Time Series.
- Check the Show legacy visualization box in the lower left-hand corner.
- Select Small Multiples with Tests for Trends and click on the page where you want to put your chart.
- In the Rows box, select the variable you want, in this example, Preferred cola.
- In the Date/filter question box, select a date/time variable, in this example, Interview Date.
