## Introduction

This article describes how to create a table of descriptive statistics (i.e., the mean, N, number of missing values, standard deviation, range, sum, minimum, 25th percentile, median, 75th percentile, and maximum).

## Requirements

A Displayr **document** with a **data set**.

## Method 1 - Drag and drop

- Go to
**Anything > Table > Descriptive Statistics**. - Drag the variables you want to create a table of descriptive statistics for into
**Inputs > Descriptive Statistics > Variables**. You can place multiple variables here. - OPTIONAL: Tick
**Variable names**if you would like to display those instead of the variable label.

## Method 2 - Select variables first

- Select the variable(s) you want to create a table of descriptive statistics for in the
**data sets**tree. - Go to
**Anything > Table > Descriptive Statistics**. - OPTIONAL: From the
**object inspector**, tick**Variable names**if you would like to display those instead of the variable label.
