How to Create a Table of Descriptive Statistics

This article describes how to create a table of descriptive statistics (i.e., the mean, N, number of missing values, standard deviation, range, sum, minimum, 25th percentile, median, 75th percentile, and maximum).

Requirements

A Displayr document with a data set.

Please note these steps require a Displayr license.

Method 1 - Drag and drop

1. Go to Table > Descriptive Statistics.
2. Drag the variables you want to create a table of descriptive statistics for into Data > Variables. You can place multiple variables here.
3. OPTIONAL: Tick Variable names if you would like to display those instead of the variable label.

Method 2 - Select variables first

1. Select the variable(s) you want to create a table of descriptive statistics for in the data sources tree.
2. Go to Table > Descriptive Statistics from the toolbar.
3. OPTIONAL: From the object inspector, tick Variable names if you would like to display those instead of the variable label.
