Requirements
- A Displayr document with a data set containing observations or respondent-level data. If you have tables already calculated/aggregated, you can see How to Import Excel Tables into Displayr for how to import those and use them to create tables on the page and subsequently visualizations.
Method 1 - Short report
- OPTIONAL: If you have more than one data set loaded in your document, select the data set you wish to create summary reports for from the Data Sources tree.
- Go to Table
> Report > Summary Report.
- Select Short report and click Next.
- Select your desired Report layout.
- OPTIONAL: Untick Include text summary of interesting results.
- Click Create Report.
- New pages will appear in the Report tree containing a summary of the data:
Method 2 - Detailed report
- OPTIONAL: If you have more than one data set loaded in your document, select the data set you wish to create summary reports for from the Data Sources tree.
- Go to Table
> Report > Summary Report.
- Select Detailed report breaking down each variable set by a list of key variable sets and click Next.
- Select the Key variable sets you want to profile all other variables against.
- Click Next.
- Select your desired Report layout.
- OPTIONAL: Untick Include text summary of interesting results.
- Click Create Report.
- New pages and folders will appear in the Report tree containing a summary of the data:
