They can only show one series at a time. As with most other visualizations in Displayr, they can take either variables or tables as their input. In this example, we'll go from a table like this:

Requirements
A single-series table or variable to use in the creation of the sparkline.
Method 1 - Via the visualization menu
- From the toolbar, go to Visualization
> [path of specific sparkline above].
- Click on the page to place the visualization.
- In the object inspector
, go to Data > Data or Variables and select the table or variables you want to base the sparkline on.
Method 2 - From an existing table
With the table selected, in the object inspector , go to Visualization > [path of specific sparkline above].
Notes
You can also change the type of sparkline from the Visualization selector in the object inspector .
To add endpoints to a sparkline you've already created (not available for box and column types), check Chart > Show end points and End Labels > Show end labels > Next to points.
Important information about editing captions:
Visualization caption edits may not be retained when a visualization with a nested table is switched back to a table. Normally, this only occurs when you double-click the caption and edit the text directly. As a workaround, we recommend using Appearance> Caption > Edit caption to edit your captions.
