This article describes how to go from a Latent Class Choice Model output created in Displayr:
To a variable containing respondent-level class membership derived from the Latent Class Choice Model:
Requirements
- A document containing a Latent Class Choice Model output created in Displayr.
Please note these steps require a Displayr license.
Method
- Select the Latent Class Choice Model output in your document.
- From the object inspector, click Data > Save Variable(s) > Class Membership.
A new nominal variable is saved to the Data Sources tree containing the respondent-level class membership values.
Technical details
Each respondent has a probability of being in each class. You can determine these probabilities by using Save Variable(s) > Class Membership Probabilities and looking at the RAW DATA. The new variable generated by this script assigns each respondent to the class with the largest probability of membership.
