Method - Adding a variable to the filter list
By default, all variables tagged as Usable as a filter appear in the View Mode Filter control menu list.

Method - Removing the variable from the filter list
- In the Data Sources tree select the filter variable.
- In the object inspector > general select Hidden in View Mode Filter menu.
- Go to Share > Publish as Web Pages > Publish (or Republish).
Method - Changing the text
- In the Data Source tree select the filter variable.
- Input the desired text to appear above values In the object inspector > General > General > Label > e.g. Select age...
- Go to Share > Publish as Web Pages > Publish (or Republish).
