Displayr allows you to undo actions or entirely revert your document to a previous version. This is helpful if you make a mistake and want to go back to an earlier state.
Undo actions
If you want to undo up to 20 actions, you can press Undo > from the toolbar and select how many changes you want to undo.
Revert your document
If you want to revert your entire document to a previous version, Displayr makes it easy to do. This can be helpful if you've made a mistake when updating data, combining data sets, or you need to undo a lot of changes at once. Displayr auto-saves a new version of your document every 10 minutes during editing, as well as every time you publish or republish the document. Note that each version is kept for 24 hours. Eventually, this is gradually thinned until 48 weeks, at which time only one version per 4-week period is retained.
To revert to an earlier version, click Undo > Version History:
A new tab will open and take you to the Version History of the document. Click Use this version to revert the document.
Your document will be reverted to the earlier version, and you can continue working in the document as usual.
You can also download a copy of an older version of a document by clicking the Download link next to that version. The downloaded file is called a QPack (named for its use as a file type in Displayr's desktop sister product, Q). The QPack can then be loaded as a new document into Displayr or replace an existing document. See How to Manage Documents in Displayr for more information.
