How to View Original Text in a Word Cloud

When reviewing your Word Cloud output, you may want to see the list of verbatim that the word comes from to see if it's appropriate to be merged with another category or to make sure that the group is accurate. This article describes how to view the original text associated with a word in a word cloud :

Requirements

A Word Cloud that has been created from a text variable in your data set. Text variables are represented by an "A" next to the variable in the Data Sources tree: .

Method

Click on the Word Cloud on the Page.
Select the word within the word cloud for which you would like to see the associated words or phrases.
Click on the magnifying glass to the right of the word that you selected:
Once the magnifying glass is clicked, you will see the list of words or phrases that are associated with it to verify that the associations are correct, and if it's okay to merge the word or phrase with another in the word cloud. In this example, I am using "easy" to verify that it can be merged with "ease":
