How does the Data Story Guide Academy work?
On signing up, participants work through the course material, comprising of reading, short video tutorials, hands-on exercises, and quizzes. Most courses provide the opportunity to earn a certification upon successful completion of an exam.

What software is required?
You will need a Displayr license or a trial license to complete the courses and earn your certifications. If you don't already have a license, you can sign up here.
Is there an additional cost to take the courses?
The Data Story Guide Academy courses are complimentary for Displayr trialists and paying customers.
How long do the courses take?
Anywhere from an hour to several hours, depending on how much knowledge you have when entering the course.
Can I start and stop, and pick up where I left off?
Yes, you can stop and start the course at your convenience. Your progress will be saved so that you can pick up where you left off when you're ready to continue.
How does certification work?
After the course, there is a certification exam. Sometimes theory-based, other times practical, always challenging, as certification shouldn’t come easy.
The certification is delivered in two ways:
- A hard copy is available for download.
- You will have the ability to add a LinkedIn Certification that is prominently displayed on your profile, issued by Displayr.
If I don't pass the quizzes or exams right away, what is the retake policy?
You may take the quizzes and exams as many times as you care to. You must reach a score of 100% to earn the certification. Each certification exam has a time limit of 60 minutes.
Do I have to take the courses in a specific order?
No, you can take the courses in any order. If you are new to data and data analysis, we recommend that you start with the Survey Analysis Foundations course. If you'd like to get comfortable using the Displayr interface first, then you can start with the Analysis Tools: Displayr Basics course. Both courses provide detailed step-by-step instructions for the exercises in Displayr.
Will there be more courses?
Yes, we plan to add more courses at a later date.
