Requirements
- A .ttf format font file. (Note that each .ttf file can only include a single variant of the font name.
You can see the Font Name by opening the .tff file):
Please note that Displayr doesn't support .tff files containing OpenType Font Variations.- Each variation requires a separate .tff file.
Method
Upload the font to the company's cloud drive
The font file needs to be accessible by Displayr, and to make sure that's the case, you should upload it to your Displayr Cloud Drive. For details on how to do that, see How to Use the Displayr Cloud Drive and the section "Saving to the Cloud Drive".
Using the custom font
Select any output, like a table, text box, or visualization. In this example, we're looking at a table. For these, go to Appearance > Font in the object inspector and select the Font name that you want to use from the list of pre-defined fonts in the drop-down.
Note that the font options are found in different locations depending on the type of output you're working with. For visualizations, for example, it's possible to set the font for many different components of the output under their respective headings in the object inspector .
In this example, we will select the Star Jedi font:

Exporting to other formats
Go to Share > Export Report to export output containing custom fonts to Excel, PowerPoint, or PDF.
- Excel exports do not use fonts, so they are unaffected.
- PDF exports will export with the custom fonts embedded into the file. Note: if the custom font does not have Italic/Bold definitions built in, they will not be exported with those styles, even though they are visible on the webpage that way.
- PowerPoint exports do not embed the fonts in the file, so they must be independently downloaded and installed on your (or the file's recipient's) computer if not already present. When exporting to PowerPoint using a custom font, the viewer will be prompted to download the .ttf file from Displayr to use on their computer. The font will need to be installed before it can be used. If the font is not installed on the viewer’s computer, a fallback font determined by PowerPoint will be used instead.
