How to Hide and Unhide Variables and Variable Sets

Hidden variables and variable sets will have Hidden except in the data tree ticked in Properties > GENERAL:

and they will appear with a slash in the data sets tree:

This article describes how to hide and unhide selected variables.

Requirements

A Displayr document with a data set.

Method 1 - from the data sets tree

To hide a variable or variable set, right-click on the variable or variable set and select Hide.

To unhide a variable or variable set, right-click on the variable or variable set and select  Unhide.

Method 2 - from the toolbar

To hide a variable or variable set, select the variable or variable set, and from the toolbar, click Hide.

To unhide a variable or variable set, select the hidden variable or variable set, and from the toolbar, click Unhide.

Method 3 - from the Anything menu

To hide a variable or variable set, select the variable or variable set and go to Anything > Hide/Unhide > Hide.

To unhide a variable or variable set, select the hidden variable or variable set, and go to Anything > Hide/Unhide > Unhide.
