How to Automatically Update R Outputs on a Schedule

You can schedule R-based calculations and outputs in a Displayr document to update automatically using a Schedule. See How to Set Up Schedules in Displayr for details about connecting your outputs to a schedule for automatic updating.

Previously, users needed to use the flipTime R package in an automatic updating widget to update R calculations and outputs. Using R code is no longer necessary, and R calculations and outputs can be automatically updated using the Schedules functionality. See How to Set Up Schedules in Displayr - Connect your data or outputs to a schedule for instructions. Schedules are easier to use and have much more functionality. It is recommended that the flipTime package no longer be used.

Note that UpdateEvery and UpdateAt functions within the flipTime package need to be removed from calculations and R Data Sets before adding them to a schedule. The controls for adding to Schedules are not visible until this code is removed.
