...to a table or visualization where cells with a value under a specified threshold (e.g., 10%) are made blank:
Requirements
- A table or visualization.
Note: You must apply the rule directly to the input table if you see a table icon in the Data > Data Source > Data field in the object inspector of a visualization.
You will also see a warning in the Rules section of the object inspector if you have applied a rule directly to a non-compatible visualization, and you will need to apply it to the input table instead. For example:
Method
- Select your table or visualization.
- Go to Data > Rules on the object inspector
.
- Select the Plus (+) > Cell Content > Blank Cells with Small Values.
- Select the appropriate statistic (if different from the default) to base the condition on.
- Select the appropriate threshold under Minimum Value.
- By default Also set values of statistic to NaN is ticked to set blank cells to NaN.
- Press OK.
Note, a footer (caption) note is also added, which specifies this condition.
