To modify a Displayr Document using the Displayr API, you will need to know the Document's secret. The Document secret is a unique key that can be used to refer to a Displayr Document. This article describes the requirements and steps to access the document key for the API.
Requirements
- You must be a member of the Administrators user group to view the key. While any user can use the document secret, only an Administrator can view it in the document's settings.
Method
- On the Document page, hover over the document until three dots appear on the right side of the document and select Settings. Alternatively, you can open the document and click on Document Settings
> Document Settings.
- Expand the Properties section.
- Scroll to the Secret document key for API (below Notes).
