This article describes how to import a data set into Displayr from SurveyMonkey. Do note that the integration and manual file download produce data sets that are formatted differently (including different variable names), thus once you've imported the data with one method, you cannot update the data set using the other method.
Requirements
- A paid SurveyMonkey plan
- If you have a custom subdomain on your Dislpayr account, you will not be able to use the SurveyMonkey API. This includes any subdomains besides app, westeurope, australiaeast, or southeastasia.
Please note these steps require a Displayr license.
Method - Integration
This is the preferred method as data can be automatically when loading the document.
1. Select Data Sources > Plus (+) > SurveyMonkey.
2. Enter your user credentials on the subsequent log-in screens:
3. Select the desired survey from the list and press Next. Displayr will then add it as a data set to your document.
Method - Manual Download
Only use these instructions if the above does not work.
- Log in to SurveyMonkey. You must have a paid SurveyMonkey account that is paid annually in order to export responses.
- Select My Surveys.
- Click on the Analyze icon next to your survey.
- Click on Exports in the left menu.
- Under Export All, select All responses data.
- Under Format, select .SPSS (only available with premium SurveyMonkey accounts) or .XLS+.
- Click the Export button.
- Wait until your download is ready.
