How to Update Value Attributes by Cutting and Pasting

To update value attributes by cutting and pasting, follow these steps:

Select the variable set to update in Data Sources.
In the Object Inspector, go to Data >Properties > Values to open the Value Attributes screen.
Click Export > CTRL + C > OK.
Paste into Excel (you can use another program, but it is generally easier in Excel).
Update the contents of the cells in Excel.
Copy all of the cells in Excel, including the headings.
Click Import > CTRL + V > OK.
Click OK again.
