This article describes how to go from a crosstab...
...to a table where you change, for example, the NET row label to Total:
Requirements
A table with rows and columns.
Method
1. Select the table.
2. In the object inspector, go to Data > Rules.
3. Select Plus (+) > Modify Headers > Automatically Rename Row Labels.
4. On the next screen, enter 'NET' as the Old label (i.e., the row that you want to relabel) and enter 'Total' as the new label:
5. Click OK to apply the rule.
While you can simply right-click a table category > Rename to change a label, this rule allows users to choose when to show this label without it flowing through to every other table that uses this question.
Note, if you select Switch rows and columns on your table, the rule will no longer work due to the table dimensions changing. In this case, you will have to apply the How to Automatically Rename Column Labels in Tables rule instead.
