This rule adds an extra row to the bottom of the table which shows the weighted average of the statistics that are shown in the columns, where they are weighted by the statistic specified in the previous step. Rows that are duplicates of other rows, for example, the NET row, are not included in the computation of the average. It is up to the user to ensure that weighting by the chosen statistic makes sense for their analysis.

Please note these steps require a Displayr license.
Method
1. Select your table.
2. In the object inspector, go to Appearance > Rules
3. Select the Plus (+) > Table Computations > Weighted Average of Each Column.
4. Change the Statistic to average (if different than the default). This is the value on your table that will be averaged.
5. Select Statistic to weight by.
6. Press OK.
Note the following:
- Statistical tests are not performed on these cells. Averaging is not conducted on the statistics shown in Statistics - Right.
- If you select Switch rows and columns on your table, the rule may no longer work if the statistics on the table change (e.g., if Column % becomes Row %).
- To fix this, go to Appearance > Rules, right-click the rule name, and select Edit to change the settings.
