When creating a new skill, Displayr can fill in the Name, Description, When to use, and Instructions fields for you from a curated example - useful when you're not sure what a good skill looks like, or you just want a working starting point instead of a blank form. Once you've picked an example, you'll have a fully populated skill you can edit and save as your own, or clear it back to a blank form at any time.
Method

Open Chat and click the Skills menu.
- Click New.

At the top of the dialog, there is a row of example skills. Click one to fill in the Name, Description, When to use, and Instructions fields with a working template. Hover over an example skill to see a tooltip describing it.
If you've already typed into the form, a confirmation dialog appears before your edits are overwritten. On a blank form, the example fills in immediately.
- Optional: Click Start from scratch to clear the form back to blank fields. This is inactive until the form has changed from blank.
- Edit any of the filled-in fields to adjust the example to your own needs, then click Save.
Notes
The example Skills row only appears when creating a new skill; it isn't available when editing an existing one.
