Updating Your Data in Data Stories

When performing data analysis and reporting, a lot of time is typically spent updating things. If data is filtered, weighted, cleaned, or new data is collected, then it is necessary to update all your analysis and reporting. Displayr automates this process.

To update data you have previously imported into Displayr:

1. Select the data you wish to update in your Data Sources tree.
2. Click the Update button found on the General tab of the Object Inspector.
3. Choose your Data Source from the import menu.

Your data will then be updated along with anything in the Document using that data.

In the example below, I've loaded data from a tracking study and created some visualizations. You'll notice that the caption below each visualization shows a sample size of 600. I can update the document with new data and you'll see that the sample size increases to 800 and the visualizations automatically update, all with just a few clicks!
