Popular amongst researchers is the importance vs. performance scatterplot. This is where you have a series of items that you place in a grid, where one of the axes is performance and the other is importance.
A bit like the scatterplot below:
Requirements
A data set containing variables you want to use as inputs in the driver analysis. Often driver analysis is performed using data for multiple brands at the same time. Traditionally this is addressed by creating a new data file that stacks the data from each brand on top of each other (see What is Data Stacking?). However, when performing driver analysis in Displayr, the data can be automatically stacked.
Method
Step 1: Run your Driver Analysis
This table is the results from a driver of brands with personality attributes:
The second is a summary of a Driver Analysis (Shapley).
Step 2: Create the Performance/Importance Scatterplot
- From the Visualization > Scatter > Labeled Scatter
- Click the
sign on the page where you want the scatterplot to appear
- In the Object Inspector, from the pulldown menus, in the X coordinates box select the Brand Personalities table and in the Y coordinates box, select the driver analysis model
The results are as follows:
Next we will change the X and Y axis labels to Performance and Importance
- Select the chart, and in the Object Inspector, seleIct Visualization Labeled Scatter > Chart
- Select X AXIS > Axis Title and type Performance
- Select Y AXIS > Axis Title and type Importance
