To a state table sorted by a pattern, in this case by row patterns:
Sorting by patterns is used to highlight significant patterns in the data. This is sometimes called "diagonalization". By making the patterns clearer it helps communicate meaning in the data
Requirements
- A table created in Displayr from a variable or variables in your data set.
Method
- Select your table.
- From the toolbar menu, select Sort and then select Categories Shown in Rows > By Pattern or Categories Shown in Columns > By Pattern.
