How to Show Only a Specified Number of Rows from the Top or Specified Rows in a Table

This article describes how to go from a standard table...

...to a table that only displays a specified number of rows from the top plus any other specified rows:

Requirements

A table in Displayr.

Please note this requires the Data Stories module or a Displayr license.

1. Select your table.

2. Go to Data > Rules on the Object Inspector.

3. To apply the rule, select the Plus (+) > Modify Whole Table or Plot > Show Only Top K and Specified Rows.

4. Specify the Number of rows to include.

5. Enter the label of any Rows to always retain, e.g. Pepsi Max (It is important to match the spelling as it is displayed in the table).

6. OPTIONAL: Select the Color for the required rows specified in step 5.

7. Press OK.
