Introduction
Links allow the Viewer of the document to jump to a different page within your Document (Dashboard), or to an URL outside the Document. Note, that links will only become active once the Document is published as a Web Page and viewed as a Dashboard.
This article describes the steps required to insert a Link into your Document.
Requirements
- A Displayr Document published as a WebPage (Dashboard).
- An object or text to add the link to. This can be a text box, image, or shape.
- At least two Pages (to link to a different page within a Document).
- Full URL address, including the protocol (eg http, https, ftp or mailto).
Method 1 - link to a Web Page
- Select an output or text you wish to add the link to.
- In the Anything menu select Page Design > Link > Web Page.
- Input the complete hyperlink including the protocol (eg http, https, ftp or mailto). The link to the Displayr home page (https://www.displayr.com/) is used in the below example.
- OPTIONAL: select Open this link in a new tab. Selecting this option will ensure that the desired website opens in a new tab of the browser, rather than navigating away from the Dashboard.

- Select the desired page from the Page: drop-down menu.
- OPTIONAL: select Open this link in a new tab if you wish for the Page to appear in a new tab of the browser.
- Select OK.
Note: to remove the link, repeat the above steps and select 'None' from the Page: drop-down menu. Also, these links are not supported when exporting to Office or PDF.

- Select one of the below options:
